This is more a caveat than a tip, but if you don't choose a sub-category of FILMS then you will only get a list covering the next couple of days.

Re: Virgin Media TiVo iPad app

Awaiting delivery on a pair of ethernet plugs from Amazon.
The bits I can access look good
- but WHY only two devices.
I'd like to watch on my Imac plus my IPad.
But then there's the missus Ipad & my Iphone to record remotely!!
Any chance of additional devices in the future ???

You can still use your iPhone to remote record and locally manage your box on your iPhone even if you have two other devices registered, the only thing you won't be able to do with the third device is watch any of the live streaming

Re: Virgin Media TiVo iPad app

When switching from away mode to home then back to away again, is anyone else having to re-enter the primary VM login details every time, despite having the Stay Signed In box checked?

My partners daughter has just got a mini iPad so trying to set it up for her so she can use the app both here in the house, and when away at her dads etc.

Don't want to have to give her our billing login details.

Its been registered as the Primary Device.

Yes, but I think that's as it's supposed to be. You "stay signed in" until the end of the session; ie when you change modes.

At least, you have to 'sign in' to away mode. You don't have to do so at home; only if you wish to stream.

I suppose it might be nice if it were permanent, but it's not at the moment. What I mean is, whilst annoying, it's not a bug!

Re: Virgin Media TiVo iPad app

Am not sure I get that 'Stay Signed In' option then? The only way you need to logout is to change mode, so seems redundant?

Re: Virgin Media TiVo iPad app

You only need to sign in (and therefore see the "Stay Signed In" option) at two points.

1. The first time you stream a live channel
2. Whenever you enter 'Away' mode.

Neither is "sticky" at the moment.

Re: Virgin Media TiVo iPad app

I used to have to enter the password when alternating modes, but recently it has remembered the password. I've just checked now on iPhone 4S and was in home mode last night, but when I went to log in away from home I just had to select away mode, but it remembered the password so I didn't have to re-enter that.

Not sure if it just takes a while to remember the set up.
