Just wondering, as any other network got tablets, why VM are not offering them?

There's no such thing as a free lunch.

If VM offer any incentive then, like everybody else, there will be a cost involved. Even if it's an extended contract it will all have been costed.....

I've changed the title to something a little more descriptive. Hopefully, it might attract someone who has an answer.

Very good question

but until more tablets come with 3G and a real phone module I dont see any reason why they would

but asus have a product coming out very soon which may prompt networks to act(tablet + phone)

I have a USB mobile internet stick for £5 a month which has a 3G sim card in, if I got a Samsung Galaxy tablet with 3G that is unlocked for example from Tesco or Amazon would the sim card work ?
Thanks Becky
