This is from the States and is untested but looks in good order visually. I have the service manual for it so if there's a fault I aught to be able to fix it. These things are really built to last, gold plated everything.
£43 inc post and pack off Ebay.

Arrived today, some superficial damage to the flanges on the control knobs. Fixed with some superglue. A quick service of the internal switch contacts with engineer's magic spray. Plugged it in and it works perfectly. Got me a bargain.

Don't waste money buying the special embossed bags - any decent plastic food bags can be used by simply inserting a small section of drinking straw across the line of the seal to facilitate evacuation. I've been doing it for ages and saved £££'s

Re: What have you just bought?
A spare LCD monitor for £8 from charity shop - not perfect, but good enough to be a setup spare - doing a new machine and transfer for a friend (that already had to replace a failed monitor) and I really didn't want to risk breaking my decent second monitor carting it around in the car.
Condition: some screen marks, and has odd bug that it's "out of range" on BIOS screen - good thing I don't need to tinker with that at the moment!
I've seen that before with some LCDs.
Also, DVD-RW drive (again £8) - box said Philips - inside was a slightly older (and non-lightscribe) Liteon 1635S - still an interesting drive as it's disc scanning capabilities are far superior to my main drive (a lightscribe capable Samsung, TBH, kicking myself for not splashing a few quid extra on a Liteon at the time I got that, but the Sammy was the cheapest lightscribe).
1635S now has latest experimental (modified 6S speed profile) firmware on it, ready to take second slot in my case (which I half reserved for another drive, a Philips/BENQ DVD8881 that I had high hopes for, but was the one Philips/BENQ that lacks their amazing disk testing capabilities, so that drive would not have added anything.
The "5S" series drive is also superior to the drive I was considerin retrieving from an old system, which was a "3S" series

Re: What have you just bought?
National Trust membership using a discount code and hopefully 6% cashback from Topcashback(but not holding my breath on that!).
3x day tickets using Tesco boost vouchers for Warwick Castle(while they still let me as they're stopping this soon).

Re: What have you just bought?
New memory/upgrade from 6 to 8Mb from Crucial; has cured my laptop crashes obviously due to faulty memory chips, despite running memory test overnight and finding no faults

Re: What have you just bought?
A couple of things.
A new lightweight wool suit for work
4 work shirts from Charles Tyrwhitt
Levi 501s for when not at work
Rose Gold 32GB iPad Pro 9.7 WiFi for SWMBO, as her current iPad is five years old and painfully slow.
