HDMI Switch Problem

I have the Neet 3 way HDMI Switch to which my Virgin V+ STB and BT G4 STB are connected.

The Switch works very well using the supplied Remote Control but not otherwise.

However when I play back a recording on the BT STB every 15minutes or so during the playback the TV screen goes black but the playback continues running. I then press the Remote Control button for the BT input on the Switch and the picture returns until the next time.

I have connected a PSU to the Switch but that did not help neither did a Booster.

This problem only affects the BT STB not Virgin.

Does anyone please have any thoughts as to the cause of this problem and a solution or is it a BT software issue?

All responses much appreciated - I got absolutely nowhere on the BT and YouView forums or with BT.

Re: HDMI Switch Problem

As this does not appear to be a problem with your VM TV Service, I've moved it to the correct forum and removed the prefix from the title.

Re: HDMI Switch Problem

Sounds as if its going into some sort of power saving mode.

Have u tried swapping the ports around with each other the BT and Virgin to rule out a port issue?
