Best Freeview aerial??

Hi
Have just moved into our new house in Postcode SS13 1HG, have not spoken to any neighbours yet so don't know if they have Freeview or cable, not too many Sky dishes around here.
Guess our transmitter will be Crystal Palace, just want to know what would be the best aerial for the best reception, have heard people saying I need a cai standard 1 if poor reception but am unsure about anything to be honest on this matter.
Anyway whatever the aerial is it's going to be at the top of a mast on the side of our house as we have no chimney stack.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Steve

Re: Best Freeview aerial??

Crystal Palace is most likely to give the best signal in your area, and you are within the London TSA anyway. You will need a Group A aerial mounted with the rods horizontal. Steer clear of the ones sold in DIY stores, as these wideband types give the worst performance on the group A channel range.

A list of CAI benchmarked aerials and cable can be found HERE.
