Help Wiring Sky+, DVD, and TV Please

I have just returned home from Iraq & need help re my new tv.
Not sure if I am on the right forum
I have currently a Sky+ Box, DVD player & just bought a LG42LH5000 TV to hang on my wall.
I have no knowledge of elecrtics or cables.
Hence, to cable up, Can I go from Scart to 3 phono jacks as I will be using face plates from the bottom of the wall to behind the tv or does it have to be scart to scart, its about 5mts away from the Sky+ Box & DVD player.
Any help would be great, I need to know how to cable up & what cables I need. I know I need coax & Sky cable from face plate to face plate, then shorter leads from Sky box & dvd to face plate & from face plate to TV.
Hope to hear back as need to get this job done for missus & boys before I go back.
