Of known declaration it's 1-1 so far, assuming Duff and Phelps vote correctly

Update: 2-1 for sporting integrity after Dundee Utd meeting tonight. This is like a very slow Eurovision except one of the contestants is allowed to vote for themself

I wouldn't assume those jokers could do anything right, plus right now hey have to convince a judge in the Court of Session that having numerous previous dealings with Craig Whyte and being his guests at Rangers games before the excrement hit the fan wasn't a conflict of interest.

I fully expect more teams to vote no, I think 4 have already received their orders from Mr Lawell and now they have gone public it's a matter or SFL1 or SFL3. I hope it's 3 to give the remnants of the team a chance to regroup and grow.
Plus it sets a precident from when mad vlad finally runs Hearts aground and Dolly remember they aren't a big club and the 80s was a long, long time ago and follow Rangers into the mire.

The wheels of justice are in motion :
http://local.stv.tv/glasgow/107835-i...-into-rangers/
Quote:
"The Crown Office has today instructed Strathclyde Police to conduct a criminal investigation into the acquisition of Rangers Football Club in May 2011 and the subsequent financial management of the Club.
"The investigation into alleged criminality follows a preliminary police examination of information passed to them in February this year by the Club administrators.
"The Procurator Fiscal for the West of Scotland will now work with Strathclyde Police to fully investigate the acquisition and financial management of Rangers Football Club and any related reports of alleged criminality during that process."

And to heap on the bad news The new club, whatever name it will end up with, won't play in the top tier.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18577192
The dignified thing would be to withdraw their application and apply for the SFL.
They'll need time to ensure they have sufficient players to fulfill fixtures at whatever level they're admitted.

Dignified? Not in Mr Greens vocabulary I'm afraid. He's already shown the players what he thinks of them by ignoring employment law. Although the distinct lack of money coming in from season ticket renewals and TV money might be making him a bit worried about recouping his money and he'll re-think the offer to take the club off his hands.
Hopefully now Rangers go to Div3, build a strong youth team and rebuild. They won't be the last team to go bust and without the Glasgow stranglehold hopefully the top flight will be a fairer place money wise by the time they get back up there.
On the brightside we can all be thankful of three years without Celtic moaning about conspiracies. They might even be beaten fairly for the first time since 1888!

Which Celtic consipiracy theory are you referring too? Jim Farry? Bobby Tait? The Bank of Scotland calling in the receivers for a £4.5m overdraught at a time when Rangers owed ever more?(rose to £70 million eventually and still no move to call in the receivers). It was the Celtic fans who came to the rescue of the club, something the ex-Rangers fans couldn't even attempt because they're still convinced there'll be a benevolent billionaire, with off the radar wealth coming to the rescue
One week, Uncle Wattie's cardigan is riding into save the club..... the next one of your colleagues might be knocking on his door

Good. SFL3 here we come.
If Motherwell reckon they received the most money from visiting Rangers fans, they provided the same as the 9 diddy teams put together, then I can see Aberdeen and Kilmarnock being in the same boat and being in serious trouble when the accounts get done.

... standard response from the fans of the team formerly known as Rangers.
They'll miss the vast amounts of money that the travelling support bring. In the short term the directors will possibly miss any shortfall from sponsorship but real football fans are looking forward to all teams having a fair chance when the competition begins.
What there is at the moment is a dodgey Yorkshireman without enough players to make a team and no SFA licence. Not even applied yet and the Friday deadline is looming.
I admire your optimism about entry into SFL3. The SFA, SPL and SFL are doing everything possible to allow Chucky to get a team in a league for next season. Less than 4 weeks until the first SPL team starts it's season and we still don't have a proper fixture list. Maybe a year out was Chucky's plan all along!
If they get a team for the start of the season in any league I reckon there is more chance of Servo going into admin / liquidation than any other team.
At least Chucky Green doesn't have a high wage bill to worry about this week, although he'll need to sell a few more season books to cover the wages of McCulloch and Lee Wallace, not to mention Ally's pie bill
The figures don't stack up, just as they didn't 20 years ago. but this time there's no benevolent Bank to fund the fantasies.
Best not to mention the possiblility of the reconvening of the appelate panel that could lead to a year out anyway.

Re: Would you like to see Celtic and Rangers in the English league?
the hypocricy of celtic is staggering...on the one hand they go on and on about how rangers should be made to start in division 3,as it would be unfair to allow them to stay/start in the SPHell.yet on the other hand state that celtic should start in the championship as they are a "great" and "huge" club, jumping ahead and over hundreds of more deserving ENGLISH clubs......tell them to [Mod Edit - inappropriate words removed] not wanted, not needed, not liked, not english.
