Isn't that the point being made? Sky and Virgin are different. What you really want is Sky. What you've done is get Virgin and then complained that they're not the same. Either way, we've had a year of added channels, including hd variants, and improved on demand content thanks to Sky Anytime. Going forward our broadband speeds are to double, more hd on demand content will be added and we'll see Tivo red button and controller apps. Really not true to say prices are going up with nothing in return. But, you have to do what's right for you, and if having the things that Sky do best is more important to you than having the things that Virgin do best then, if you can, you should move.

Sky anytime in HD! Finally! I loved having the movies in anytime but hated the fact they were not in HD when I pay for HD! Keep up the good work VM.

I'd like ESPNA HD, but it wouldn't take much of what's available to appease most. I'm a big fan of nascar but there's really nothing else on Premier Sports that floats my particular boat - at £8 a month, makes you think an unbundled package of channels would be about £400 a month!!!

Well that is a matter of opinion Dave but if we all had the same tastes and preferences then life would be boring.

yes sure would be boring if all had same taste plus cant see sky letting VM have it as it being more awkward with channels again and as proved with F1 only get sd now if anything

I think it's a bit harsh to say that Sky are being awkward with channels. They, not Virgin, bought the rights to F1 and have at least the right to profit from that by keeping the hd variant as an exclusive to themselves to drive new subs. Hd is one of Sky's few plus points, after all-no sense in losing your best selling point by giving it to your competitor. At one point I had a fear we wouldn't see this channel on Virgin at all. Keeping all versions of Sky Atlantic exclusive was maybe a little petulant, but I think we're reaching the end of that particular issue.
