Re: BoxNation on Virgin Media?

More televised boxing coming soon!

http://news.boxrec.com/news/2012/exc...elevision-deal

Primetime (SKY channel 498) on a free-to-air basis with a two-and-a-half to three hour time slot. Fans can also watch the action on Freeview (channel 112) or online at www.sportstonightlive.com.

No mention of Virgin Media picking this up! Will post over in the Coming Soon thread to see if anyone has any further info.

ZiQi is an unknown quantity at this point
Re: BoxNation on Virgin Media?

I'd like to see more boxing on the channel before I subscribe, even if it's lots of smaller fights from the UK and Germany for example.

On my TV it comes up as "Sports" powered by Connect-TV. Boxnation showed a fight on this channel last year, prior to launching on Virgin. The below link will give you some more info:

Re: BoxNation on Virgin Media?

Some big fights in that list.

I really want to see Matthysse v Olusegun. Matthysse is a massive puncher, real fun to watch. Olusegun has been waiting for a world title fight for a bout 5 years! Remember watching him a few times on SKY when Frank Maloney promoted him. This should be a classic.

Ahh yes, i've seen people talking about these internet channels. Apparently, only HD boxes can get these channels and then not even all of those can.

Eurosport

24th August 2012 - Bigger's Better 14 (Morocco)

14th September 2012 - Timo Hoffmann Vs. Steffen Kretschmann

28th September 2012 - Christian Hammer Vs. Danny Williams

05th October 2012 - Gary Buckland Vs. Stephen Foster

SKY Sports

08th September 2012 - Tony Bellew Vs. Edison Miranda

22nd September 2012 - Carl Frampton Vs. Steve Molitor

06th October 2012 - Prizefighter - The Lightweights

20th October 2012 - Kell Brook Vs. Hector David Saldivia

Primetime Live

15th September 2012 - Richard Commey Vs. Kris Hughes

BoxNation

25th August 2012 - Robert Stieglitz Vs. Arthur Abraham

07th September 2012 - Tony Conquest Vs. Ian Tims

08th September 2012 - Randall Bailey Vs. Devon Alexander

14th September 2012 - Billy Joe Saunders Vs. Jarrod Fletcher

15th September 2012 - Yoan Pablo Hernandez Vs. Troy Ross

15th September 2012 - Saul Alvarez Vs. Josesito Lopez

13th October 2012 - David Price Vs. Audley Harrison

27th October 2012 - Denis Lebedev Vs. Guillermo Jones

On the 25th August on BoxNation, we should finally see the debut of Solo Boxeo as part of the deal with GoldenBoy Promotions. Live from California we should be treated to a night of action featuring the young up and coming talent from GoldenBoys roster. Expect fireworks!

Other rumoured fights coming to BoxNation:

01st September 2012 - Felix Sturm Vs. Daniel Geale

08th September 2012 - Vitali Klitschko Vs. Manuel Charr

06th October 2012 - Zaurbek Baysangurov Vs. Lukas Konecny

20th October 2012 - Danny Garcia Vs. Erik Morales
