VPNs and Homegroup problems

Hi,

I have a desktop set up with a VPN, I cannot access homegroup through my laptop. Is the VPN the problem?

Thanks.

Re: VPNs and Homegroup problems

I know this is an older thread but just a note to say some VPN providers have a way around this. AirVPN for example have their client's 'network lock' (leak proof firewall rules) set up in such a way that your LAN IPs are still available but everything else is sent via the VPN. Worth a look if you still need it.
