Re: A strange but telling question
I would never dream of dying on my knees it would scuff the toes on my shoes. I intend to leave this world wearing the highest heels I can find. I may no longer be able to walk in the fashion I would like but I intend die in style.

Re: A strange but telling question
Death is death your position at the time matters little and in asking such a question context is everything I'd have thought you'd have grasped that little thing.

Re: A strange but telling question
I'd prefer in my sleep like my granddad, not screaming and shouting like the passengers on his bus as it went over the cliff.

They say the old ones are the best , since reading your "joke" I have decided that statement is incorrect

Neither - I'd rather live on my feet...
I believe your OP proposition is a false dichotomy...

My wife is originally from NORN IRON, it's a common saying their. (Northern Ireland). It's better to die on your feet than live on your knees.

The problem they had is that our Republican friends often didn't leave them knees to kneel on...

I can think of quite a few words to describe you but clever isn't one of them. Sad is one of the ones that probably sums you up.

Re: A strange but telling question
I understand what the OP is pointing to but James says that "faith without action" is worthless so at some point you will need to get off those knees and DO.

There is no such thing as free speech, and on this forum you follow rules or leave.
One of those rules is that you will not insult other members - something you seem to do on a regular basis, so consider this an official warning.
Stop being a souce of trouble, and stop taking digs at other members.
If you continue, you will find your account taking an enforced break.

Its true, as a concept it relies on tolerance within society and no matter how liberal, society sets responsibilities and boundaries to follow accordingly.
