Is there a quick method to delete emails enbloc from windows live mail, I have a list of 1800+ and its a bit long winded using ctrl and clicking each one to delete using that method?
instead of CTRL+Click, select the first mail you want to delete, move to the last in the block and hold SHIFT then click it. this will select all emails in that range.

Thanks all, I am using the wml application, and the shift button worked although it was quite lengthy operation. Have not got a select all anywhere nor on right click etc.
But now tidied up thanks to above help.
