Clash of the Titans (2010) - meh!
3/10 - very slow, and even the action sequences were a bit meh.

I thought it was about as realistic as the original but more stilted, and was I glad I never went to see it on the cinema.

re: Rate the last movie you saw
The missus and I just saw Toy Story 3 in 3D and loved it. Like Up, I don't think 3d is essential, but I think you're missing out if you don't see it in 3d.
I'd imagine the short beforehand would be pretty lifeless and flat in 2d? It certainly wasn't the funniest of the pre films shorts, but visually was outstanding.
As for Toy Story 3, I think it's the best of the 3 (we watched 1 and 2 again last couple of weeks), as as well as being extremely funny, is very exciting as well 10/10

re: Rate the last movie you saw
just watched 'Paranormal Activity' courtesy of Lovefilm!
4 maybe 5/10
it was ok. watchable, but not scary like it was made out to be. credit due to the fact it was made on a really low budget, but to be fair, it really could have been made by a performing arts college class. it's kind of hard to see where the budget went, other than marketing and editing software tbh.

Shrek: Forever After 3D
7/10. Not as good as the first three, to be honest and the 3D wasn't that great.
I am going off the concept of 3D, to be honest. It cost me nine pounds extra for the three of us and then they had the audacity to charge me another three pounds for the "hire" of the glasses, can you believe. As if you had the choice of watching the movie without them.

The Thomas Crown Affair (Brosnan/Russo remake from 1999)
Not watched it in years. Excellent. I prefer this one to the original.

re: Rate the last movie you saw
Knight and Day 9/10 very well made and very funny with Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz well worth going to see.
I took SWMBO who was not really looking forward to this as she expected another gung ho movie and she really enjoyed to the laugh out loud extent.

re: Rate the last movie you saw
Just finished watching The Bad Lieutenant (Nicolas Cage & Eva Mendez). I thought its a very good movie, easy to follow, Nic Cage was pretty good in it too. 7.5 out of 10.

Love it since I first saw it in '99.. Unlike the first one where the main character isn't taking any risks in this one he's taking all the risks Must drag out the DVD and watch it again tonight

Salt
Good fast action film with a few twists, only though 90 minutes and I saw it more as a series pilot as the plot is left open in that way at the end
8/10
