Channel 5 +1 is the only '+1' that will come in October and has been confirmed.
but if Sky1 +1 is just an rebrand of Sky Livingit - Sky1 +1 May also be on Virgn Media.
but I think if SA +1 is just an rebrand of Sky Livingit +1 - Virgin will remove this channel.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2012) Vol. 3.
Could we see Sky Atlantic+1 on Virgin so that Sky can continue to tell their customers that their platform is the first place they can see Atlantic programming? Is that really clutching at straws???

Just listened to the interview that Den posted and Stuart Murphy said that 25% give SA the reason for choosing Sky. Sounds like a good reason to keep SA exclusive to Sky. But I refuse to give up hope!

VM should try offering them 106, 107 & 108 and see if they would offer it with the higher slot.

Thats an interesting number. I think I'm right in saying Sky have about 10 million households. This of course means that significantly more than 10 million have access to Atlantic, but even allowing for there to be just one person in each of those houses, 25% of Sky customers is at least 2.5 million. And yet, again I think this is right, the highest ever audience for any Atlantic show was about 750,000? I'm sure Muppetman will be quick to correct my figures if they're wrong, but it sort of suggests that more people say they want the channel than actually find anything to watch on it. Of course, if even despite that its still driving 25% of new subs and presumably preventing a significant amount of churn then yes, I agree thats a very good reason for Sky to keep it an exclusive.

Strange - the viewing figures don't seem to reflect this, as 10 million households have Sky Atlantic, as the Borgias had 243k viewers, the Newsroom 141k viewers, and Alan Partridge had 131k viewers on the week of August 12th

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2012) Vol. 3.
I imagine its 25% of new customers, then the ones that actually filedl in the survey asking why they joined Sky. So about 1% of all customers.

Sky Atlantic contents is always on Skys top 5 downloads from Anytime+ and has very large time shift figures. In some cases you can quadruple total viewings from just "live" audience figures.
