Interesting.
Hopefully Virgin are trying to get SKY Sports News HD and SKY News HD, just like UPC successfully did last week. Alternatively, NOW TV on TiVo would be great

I'm not convinced hbo would benefit from Atlantic being available to more viewers in terms of dvd sales. After all, thats currently how those of us without the channel access hbo content.

I stand corrected! Getting my EPG in the mix thinking I was watching TV channels!
If that were the case - we wouldn't need an STB.
Now there's TV freedom!

Don't worry, you'll be able to watch them in HD on Sky1 or Comedy Central when ITV2 dump them for more reality garbage.

I know what Virgin 'Are in talks' for but I am holding that info back until I know that the deal has been signed.

My insiders told me the same thing when Hallmark HD was set to launch on Astra UK.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2012) Vol. 3.
This seems to be a going joke as far as l am concerned 'talks are on going'. Is that when the directors and pen pushers play golf together an d then go to the pub. They must be the longest talks going.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2012) Vol. 3.
I have been following the whole Sky Atlantic thing on here for ages and I wonder why everyone assumes that it's the price charged that is the issue? For years now, Sky have marketed on content (see football in stunning HD, etc.) while VM have marketed on technical aspects such as VOD and Tivo.
I would imagine what Sky would not want is for VM to market too heavily into their patch, i.e. content. If I was selling Sky Atlantic, I would push for a good price of course but also put stipulations on how VM marketed this channel addition. I would also make very sure this channel was only available on the XL package! No loss leaders please.
Note, this is all hypothetical but I am sure there's more than 'pony up the cash and you get the channel'.
