V+ & Dvd
Hi Newbie here so please go gentle!
Happy Christmas too.
The in-laws bought me a DVD recorder for xmas and I am unable to get virgin media v+ through the recorder. I read a posting that suggested having HDMI meant it was only available as V+ extras to basically archive recordings on the v+ which is fine however, even this does not work?? I have all cables checked and set up as it should be but no joy any advice?
Thanks in advance

Re: V+ & Dvd
Welcome to CableForum and Happy Christmas
If you are on HDMI with the V+ and you want to record, you need to plug the DVD recorder into the VCR Scart on the V+.
This then allows the archive function to work
The TV Scart and RF output are disabled when on either HD output option

What input is the DVD recorder set to when you are archiving from the V+?

Re: V+ & Dvd
Well I know when I had a video it used to say what input it was on. displayed it on the front.
Either that or you will have to tune to the DVD recorder input on the TV and select it from there

make sure that the channel that is listed next to the SCART socket on the back of the DVD recorder is the same as the channel which you are on when you are recording
