Alien v Predator Requiem - Wastes an hour and a half. 5/10.
Did anyone else notice that the mysterious Colonel Stevens in the plane looked like the Cigarette Smoking Man from the X-Files?

I'd give it a 7/10, i actually rather enjoyed it, although it was quite predictable. The one thing that shocked me was the roof fight scene betwn the two species...

I thought starship trooper 2 was better than 1 as it was more a straight up sci-fi rather than comedy sci-fi.
Anyway...
A moment to remember (directors cut)
10/10, Great korean romance.

Well, it was lucky to get 5/10 from me. Nothing special for me.

El Orfanato (The Orphanage)
An excellent ghost film, the type they don't seem to make anymore. For me this beats all the Hollywood crap that's out at the moment by far.
Loved it.
10/10

re: Rate the last movie you saw
30 Days of Night - basically, load of ancient vampires turn up for a little snacking on the people of a town that becomes dark for 30 days once a year.
I thought it was poor. It lept about too much - time passing quickly, then slowly. Also no real acknowledgement by the survivors that they were dealing with vampires, and none of the usual defences. Just went for beheading, which is a little tricky to accomplish with your throat hanging out. No religion neither - whole town without a single priest or vicar. One of the vampires said there was no God - but presumably said vampire comes from Hell, in which case there must be a heaven, and by extension, a God. One of two shock moments but on the whole, not very scary. Nice aerial shot of the carnage, which made me think of Warcraft.
A modern slasher movie with a bit of added intelligence - 5/10

Planet Terror
- cameo appearances from Bruce Willis & Quentin Tarantino aside I was quite surprised how much I enjoyed this film, I don't usually like blood/gore/zombies type films, but this had an almost comic book feel, some humour - and Rose McGowan
8/10
