Re: Service Problems - signal levels?
If you were to refresh your stats, does the upstream rise to above 55 dBmv? If so, the upstream is struggling.
Does the event log have T3 errors?

Re: Service Problems - signal levels?
Hmm starting to wonder if the 280 has gone faulty as I now find myself unable to even get to the setup login even

i get that myself sometimes but it is when I know their has been an area fault and for whatever reason the modem locks up. A quick unplug always does the trick

Re: Service Problems - signal levels?
I've just phoned and a nice lady called Sherry checked everything over but couldn't find a fault but could see that the speeds were low, so I have an engineer booked for tomorrow afternoon, plus she credited our account with £10 as we're only getting 10-12meg, result!

I have just had a genious idea. If there made it policy to give everyone a £10 refund if they got less than half their speed I bet you it would be a good incentive for them to pull their finger out and get things sorted otherwise they would lose ££££££££
