Re: IE7 beta public release?

Looks like MS are lining up Beta2 for X64 and Server 2003
Bink.nu
Quote:
Micrsoft will release Inter Explorer 7 Beta 2 also for Windows Server 2003 SP1/R2 and for the 64bit editions of Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 SP1/R2.
Beta 2 is currently scheduled for April of this year.
Not exactly a mountain of information so far obviously

Re: IE7 beta public release?

Won't let me download it, it keeps saying that it couldn't point my browser to validate my version of XP.

Question Re: IE7 beta public release?

Just loaded IE7 on my PC. When loading up I get the following message:-

Quote:
Smartbridge Alerts: MotiveSB.exe.Entry Point not found
The procedure enrty point GetProcessImageFileNameW could not be located in the dynamic link library PSAPI.DLL.
Any ideas? Is it something to do with Broadband Medic? How do you fix this?

Cheers

You must have a valid version of Windows XP, the new validation does check not only to see its been registered (which could of been by-passed by recent validation hacks) but also on serial as well.

if you do have a legitimate version contact windows as you will continue to receive these messages I had a similar problem and got a new CD from Windows as I had proof of purchase.

Looked horrible on my TFT - fortunately you can restore previous appearance by turning Cleartype off in advanced options

Re: IE7 beta public release?

Ok, the build before that was totally fine, but now when i try to log into Windows Live Messenger Beta it crashes and closes up, i had to uninstall the latest IE 7 and Windows Live Messenger is working fine again ...
