Re: No upgrade yet
Well I contacted VM, I got a new super hub, have now had it 3 days, upgrade has not been completed as of yet, called VM today spoke to 'Gordon' who informed me the upgrade in my area has not yet been completed, well that's funny, my brother who is in the same house hold was on 10mb and now on 20mb, my neighbours are now on 20mb, and a few friends are now on the 60mb service.
The guy was not one bit helpful at all, who do I need to speak to in VM to get the update applied?

You'll just have to call back and see if someone else can help. CS vary sometimes.

Some people have been upgraded, some are still waiting, isn't that what "not completed" means!?

Now I see the wireless on the hub is at best very poor, I have a dlink 615 here.
What cable goes where?

Re: No upgrade yet
once in modem mode put one side of a ethernet cable into the port nearest to the white cable (rear SuperHub) and the other end into the routers WAN port or in your case the INTERNET port rear of the D Link 615

Re: No upgrade yet
your d link 615 takes over routing. you use the LAN ports rear of the d link router and wireless on the d link. the SuperHub just sits as a overweight modem
---------- Post added at 01:40 ---------- Previous post was at 01:38 ----------
you might want to log into your d link 615 by putting this into your web browser...
192.168.0.1
and on within the SETUP tab click on both auto wizard set ups for INTERNET SETUP and WIRELESS SETUP
there you can set passwords, security etc. note on the INTERNET SETUP the password is for log in to your settings not wireless network. the wireless network password set up is on the WIRELESS SETUP WIZARD. two different things dont get confused.
