Problem logging into blueyonder.co.uk FTP webspace.

I found a similar problem here:

http://community.virginmedia.com/t5/...wp-blueyonder-...

I thought I'd start a new thread though.

I am using an ftp program to try to log into ftp.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk

I've read this:

http://help.virginmedia.com/system/s...2883&CURRENT_C...

My problem is I can't remember the login info.

www.doomiii.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk

That is the website and it hasn't been updated for several years. I'm not sure if the login name is doomiii or one of my email aliases.

I have 2 emails which I created for personal use and I created an email for the account holder but I don't remember that one, so I can't just check which alias is tied to the webspace login.

In fact no one has access to that email cause I'm the one who set it up for the account holder but I'm restricted access.

I've just failed to find a bill from vm so I can't use there password/login recovery method (have they gone paperless? Usually a bill is found in draw).

I have 2 emails, 1 with an alias, that name of the webpage (doomiii) and i have two common passwords. Tried them all, can't login.

if you need a bill because it has got your account number or something on it then ring up customer services and ask them to email you one.

I phoned up VM and they said they would get back to me in 5 days as they could not immediately rectify the problem

So you didn't ask them to email you a bill?

Re: Problem logging into blueyonder.co.uk FTP webspace.

I got a bill, and when that didn't allow me to login as the account holder I rang them up and they changed the password but I still could not login. After I the phone call ended I logged in as the account holder and it didn't help. As I say I'm waiting for them to fix it because they themselves cannot login to their server. They said they have not upgraded the server which hosts my website and its 10-15 years old and he mentioned "corporate firewall" blocking access.

I asked them if I should just make a new VM website but they said they could fix it, so I left it with them.
