They're in talks with love film and netflix with a view to launching apps on Tivo. Obviously the netflix app already exists is the states, Virgin want it and there's no obvious reason why netflix wouldn't want to open themselves up to even more subscribers, so it must be coming soon!
Or something.

I saw some figures somewhere that VM BB customers were over 60% of Netflix new customers. It would make sense for VM to want a cut , Netflix may have other ideas with that sort of penetration already.

Most netflix UK customers will still be on their free one month trial I would imagine. It'll be interesting to see what happens once the service has been up and running a few months, but I can't see any scenario where having their app on Tivo wouldn't be beneficial to netflix. A possible 4 million extra customers, all of whom definitely have the broadband speed required to guarantee a good service. No brainer, surely.

Maybe, but can you see VM allowing them to go on TiVo without them taking a cut? Netflix already has access to VM BB customers, what does it have to gain apart from a few customers with TiVo ,but no BB!

I wouldn't watch a movie on the PC, would rather watch on my TiVo without all the messing about.
