There is no doubt that these price rises in quite a lot of cases will have a very serious impact and myself and my partner who are selling a few things on Ebay and Amazon at the moment have had to raise what we charge for postage as it has gone up from £1.09 to £2.70 to post these items to the buyers.
Sadly they'll represent a massive percentage increase for many businesses - large and small.
How many people post loads of letters a week nowadays?
Texts, emails, facebook etc etc.
I haven't written or posted anything since Christmas, and I'll probably only post something every few months, and I would suspect that that is true of many people.
Therefore, I say again, I would be quite happy to pay a £1 a stamp.
