Yes at least one player has shown loyalty now lets see if your best player RVP signs a new deal.

l think we all agree thats players get paid to much for just kicking a football but if Arsenal don't stump up what their players want then l feel Arsenal will gradually go into gradual decline and will have a uphill to win trophies and even qualify for Europe.

Re: Football Season 2011/12

The talk of Nasri not being offered a good package was crap, i thought wrong. he was infact offered a very good contract but rejected it for a couple of extra millies at City. the gap isn't as big as quoted IMO, had Arsene gone and brought players, fixing the issues properly we could have seen things unfold differently. our stature is massive, the foundation was solid, the attraction was incredibly high but the neglect has destroyed it.

He hasn't destroyed the foundation at all. We have had a bad start the season, and are likely to have a bad season, this talk of destruction and neglect is really over the top.

Nasri left because regardless of what Arsenal could offer, Man City could offer more. The sums Nasri was offered as at max £100,000 a week compared to £190,000 at City. They also stand a better chance of winning the league because they are prepared to offer these sums to the world's best players. Arsenal cannot compete anywhere near their level.

Their 'property' would instantly increase in value as they will be part of a select group of 20 teams that play in a very popular league.

It's more likely that they will propose the European Elite League and franchise that.

we had a solid foundation, on top of which we had a very good squad which needed a few tweaks with regards to extra personnel but Wenger put way to much faith in mediocre players. decent and surprisingly flops got fed up and decided to jump ship. as you say the incentive of more money and a better chance of winning cups hampered our chances of gaining any sort of upper hand over the other clubs wanting our players. the foundation isn't as solid as it was.

Putting faith in players is what gave us Wilshere, Szczesny (when everyone was telling him to buy a 'keeper), Song and Sagna. We rarely buy players who are already established.

The foundation is the economic health of the club and the future prospect, all of which are fine. If we miss out on Champions League football we are still better equipped than Liverpool and Spurs to go for it again.

Jack showed his quality from the go, so did Gibbs. Its that sort of quality that deserves backing. Szczesny I agree, signing a keeper would have seen him relegated to the bench, pointless still Wenger did make a huge bid for Reina. Song, again he showed he was able to step up when people were talking of loaning him out instead we stuck with him and rightly so. Sagnas dropped, he was solid as a rock when he arrived but since the passing of his brother he hasn't been the same. Bendtner flop, calls for his head yet way to much faith, Almunia needing to be dropped years before Szczesny was ready yet too much faith, Denilson, Rosicky, Diaby.. all leading to an implosion which happened in the summer.

what happened to the days when Wenger made signing out the blue who made progress. long gone are those days, forget twitter, they all get snatched out of our hands even when the players themselves want the move. theres way to many wrongs, it needs sorting out wouldnt you agree?

we're better equipped than most of the rest yet its not good enough when theres paths available within our reach to avoid such set backs, its a waste.

the foundation will become solid again when our revenue picks up and of course Wenger spends whats in the kitty.

Blatter was re-elected Fifa president for a fourth term in June Fifa president Sepp Blatter is preparing to perform an extraordinary U-turn by calling for the release of court documents which could reveal that senior officials at the world governing body took bribes.
Fifa has repeatedly blocked attempts by journalists to have the documents released.
The BBC has learned that Blatter is to push for the publication of the papers at a crucial two-day meeting of the committee in Zurich, which starts on Thursday.

No doubt that he has covered himself and his organisation, corrupt or what !!!!

Re: Football Season 2011/12

Arsene Wenger has rexaffirmed his commitment to Arsenal by pledging not to leave the Gunners whilst he is still under contract at the club.

Wenger has three years left on his current deal and has said in the past that a role with Paris Saint-Germain could tempt him to one day leave the Emirates.

Arsene Wenger: I have three years left at Arsenal and I will respect my contract.
