Re: Moans and Pet Hates Part 7
Some little scrote stole my nephew scooter while he was standing next to it while he was talking to his mum on his phone.
Phoned the police, and insurance who said £200 excess, on a £100 scooter
As you can guess he's in tears.
Uncle will come to the rescue and buy him a new one.

Hate the fact tons of food around christmas has cranberry with it! Some really nice looking foods spoilt with that nasty flavour
One bonus of early christmas food is the availability of those cheese wrapped in bacon goodies

Re: Moans and Pet Hates Part 7
Thank you - it'll be ok, it's just irritating as it was three years ago this week I started having problems with my feet and I thought I'd turned a corner.
Looking on the bright side though I do have a funky orange cast to show off to the children at church this weekend

Bad luck dilli.
Diabetes has a lot to answer for. The sooner they find a way of stopping its advance in it's tracks the better.

Unfortunately a lot of it is down to the individual. I am half expecting to be diagnosed with it tomorrow and with my weight problems over my life it will be no ones fault but my own. A cure would of course be excellent
Obviously I am not blaming Dilli and wish him a speedy recovery

More and more researchers are finding that Type 2 diabetes has a genetic or viral origin and that the weight gain is as a result of these factors not just by over eating. No matter that the NHS refuses to accept any of these findings. If it was, in fact, purely as a result of being overweight then you wouldn't find that around 80% of obese people don't have raised glucose levels. If anyone wants to take a fresh look at the way they control their diabetes, no matter whether they are types 1, 1.5, or 2 please PM me and I will give you a link to a forum that helps diabetics in a way that has most of us achieving BG levels well below those following their GP/ clinic expectations. The weight loss achieved by the radical, but very tasty, change in diet is not to be sneezed at either.
Sorry for the long post but this is something I care about deeply.
