Re: 2016 Formula 1 Season Thread
Lewis needs to win the next race and Rosberg finish no higher than forth to finish first in the championship, i think this year will be Rosbergs unless something happens to Rosbergs car.

Down to the wire, but realistically, Rosberg just needs to avoid gremlins, foulups and other bad luck, not likely to be off the podium if still running, could probably even get away with coming back from a puncture.

Re: 2016 Formula 1 Season Thread
Rosberg has bursts of form at times but overall he strikes me as such a mediocre driver. Its harsh to say but without Hamilton's DNF's he'd be finishing behind again. Comes of to me as what Webber was to RBR when Vettel was flying.

Door locked, knocker & bell battery removed.
Phone off hook.
Time for the F1 decider.
If Lewis has a mechanical issue, next year I'm backing Red Bull.
Nico does NOT deserve to win the title like several of his wins he was gifted.

Re: 2016 Formula 1 Season Thread
Screw Mercedes, telling Hamilton to speed up so 3rd & 4th place can't over take Rosberg thus denying him his 1st title.

Unlike Keke who earned a world championship, Nico has been gifted his.

I thought that was petty from Hamilton. Trying to back his teammate into traffic. It is a team sport as well as an individual one. They weren't asking him to give the space up.

Re: 2016 Formula 1 Season Thread
Nothing petty about handing your balls to someone? It made it interesting and about handing the title over well Lewis made him sweat for it so it wasn't exactly a giveaway even if what came before was totally different. No hard feelings IMO let it all start again next season.

Rank bad sportsmanship, mark of a sore and petty loser. Glad he lost. Would have been funny to see him really slow down and then Rosberg do a Senna and smash into him taking them both out.
As for the others here saying he was gifted it, that applies to all of Hamilton's titles as well, every year there are mechanical failures for all drivers.
Get over it, this year the better more consistent driver won.

Engine failure at Malaysia was the difference between drivers
