Just a gameplay video, wouldn't judge graphics or res given they seem to have recorded it using a pants capture card or the xbox itself (recording feature). Seems to be a few texture bugs lingering about but to be fair this game has never interested me so I'm not bothered.

Re: The Xbox One Thread
I am thinking of cancelling my x1 order based on the resolution difference on launch titles and buying the cheaper ps4 console and then waiting to see what happens, any views on my possible decision?

Re: The Xbox One Thread
I really don't see that as a big enough reason to cancel.
Put it this way, if no info leaked then would you even notice?
It's the same on current gen systems. Not all games are actually in 720p or 1080p. The systems upscale to the output resolution.

Just reading the link i posted put me off a little as they said the pixel count was obvious.
I will scratch my head for a few weeks before i make a decision i think as i really would like to stick with X1 but it does look like most games will be 720p compared to most games on PS4 closer to 1080P and both consoles obviously both have room for improvement overtime.
I only want 1 console though grrr. lol

Re: The Xbox One Thread
Just buy both?
Forza and GT (in the future) not a good enough reason to fill the shelves on your telly unit?

Re: The Xbox One Thread
I don't really have time to play games that often though so buying both would be a waste, i need to stick to 1 console i think.
Maybe i will just take the risk and stick with X1 as i do prefer the games lineup for the exclusives next year so it is just the resolution issue bugging me now.

I really don't see the problem ?? , if the gameplay is good enough and it looks good , hell people are arguing over 4 fps difference on some forums for gods sake and how defined a seagull looks and power lines in the distance , who the hell cares when the difference is so small , in full flow they look near identical , paused the xbox one looks more defined. Xbox live and the smooth operating system is still the key to microsofts success.

Re: The Xbox One Thread
I am still in 2 minds and it is the first time i have wavered since placing my X1 preorder.
My problem is i don't like jaggies and i can see jaggies on my 22in monitor on those comparison videos so it will look worse on a 40in TV.
I will likely keep my X1 order but when i see videos like this it makes me think otherwise as it looks great with very little jaggies.

Re: The Xbox One Thread
I'm sticking with the Xbox One at launch and a PS4 next year when Naughty Dog (hopefully) bring something out.
(based upon current gen) I prefer the controller and I prefer the online system.
It's not like all games are going to be 720p... Forza is 1080p, and others will be.
IIRC from reading it last night, that DF article mentioned that the issue with Ghosts and BF4 may have been because they're 3rd party launch titles and MS had been moving the goalposts regarding the spec and the drivers.
If the final specs and drivers were not locked down in time, IW and DICE may have had to "play it safe" and aim for 720p just in case, due to not knowing what the final system would be like.

I read somewhere the HDD had to be greater than 160GB and SATAII, not sure about SSDs though, although 1 of those would be seriously expensive.

A topic for the Xbox One thread i guess but live will likely cost £30ish a year so not too bad.

Re: The Xbox One Thread
Oddity I had an email from Amazon who said that CoD ghosts is now being pushed back to the 16th Nov, instead of the 5th. Wonder if that has something to do with the resolution?

I see no reason why it would require XBL Gold on the Xbox One when it doesn't require it on the Xbox 360.
On the 360, you need Gold for multiplayer plus pretty much every app except for BBC iPlayer. You do not need it if you want to play audio CDs, MP3s, or stream media from a DLNA / UPnP Media Server.
