I suppose, OK I will revise that statement. I hope he signs for HRT or someone like that.

Re: Formula 1 2012 season
Hamilton seems to be a quite personable individual. I suspect that he is ruthless in his dealings with any team in order to maximise his earning potential. The Mercedes is not even close to being competitive with McLaren let alone Ferrari, Red Bull et. al. I would be very surprised if Lewis went to Mercedes.

Re: Formula 1 2012 season
I think the best thing for Hamilton is to get away from McLaren.
Hamilton is a brilliant driver and the past few years with the team have been a nightmare plagued with problems. (Some extremely poor pit stops and virtually meaningless upgrades to the car, for a team as big as this)
Penalised multiple teams throughout last season, retirements and so on, A fresh start at another team could be good.
You can't say Mercedes are a step back because they don't have a driver that will really take the car to it's limit throughout a season. Schumacher just hasn't got it now. If they put a good car out there and get Lewis in then you may have a nice combo.
We've already seen the car is capable of winning.
In fact a lot of the cars this year are capable of keeping up with the big three teams. Lotus, Sauber, Force India, Mercedes but they don't have the big boys driving them.

Re: Formula 1 2012 season
Vettel pulled off with a couple of minutes left of P3, looked like he lost power as he went from 6 to 7th gear..
Hamilton tops P3 by one thousands of a second from Alonso, should be an interesting Q session

Indeed. I hope the slip stream trick Ferrai were doing in FP3, Q1 and Q2 failed for them in Q3 as that would be really funny. Massa has out qualified Alonso for the 1st time this season.
Edit: Ferrai say it was an issue on Alonso's car that caused him to loose pace thats why he ended up 10th

Re: Formula 1 2012 season
I was gutted when Button couldn't get pole. I hope he wins the race and Hamilton has one of his botched pit stops. Gone right off him, ashamed to be from the same town as him atm. Negative rep me if you want or have a go at me, I am only stating the fact he has a massive ego with not quite enough talent to back it up.

Re: Formula 1 2012 season
Sorry, thought I was on topic when I said I was upset Hamilton had got pole position. Unless my comments after that were offensive, in which case sorry.

Alonso trying to go round the outside of Vettle on the curva grande! Vettle should get a drive through for pushing him that wide.
Edit
Button out

No he was on the racing line, Alfonso could have lifted, but of course he has FIA (Ferrari International Assistance) to call on.
