Samsung s2

Hi guys, at the mo my contract is only £2.50 a month ( 75 mins & unlimited texts) I am happy with that, but later today I am getting a new samsung s2 now when I put my vm sim into the s2, although I dont have or dont want data will the sim still download any data ?

Simply turn mobile data off in the settings.

Well after a week of using my s2 I am now getting used to it, as I bought it second hand & it's locked to vm can I request a unlock code or will I have to buy the code

As long as you don't root it AND upgrade to Android 4.4.2 (KitKat), or above, then you can unlock it using one of the many free Samsung Unlock Apps from the Play Store. The Unlock Apps don't work on KitKat apparently.

I have an Unlocked S2 which runs KitKat just fine but if it is network locked then KitKat will break this, according to reports on these Apps.
