Not a virus as such just my immune system kicking in yet again when it wasn't needed. It destroys things that are not a danger to me, normally my red blood cells, but this time it decided it didn't like my digestive system. Still at least I seem to have got away with not having to start taking steroids again so I am a happy, but very weak for the time being, bunny.

That's ok then, there is a common problem with the previous model where the plastic trim above the dvd drive warps and creates a gap between the 2 sections of the lower body to varying degrees often causing difficulty in closing the lid/screen. Mine did this but not to a great extent, still annoying though bearing in mind how much they cost. Steve Jobs doesn't seem to give a toss about quality control so always a good idea to take out Apple care if you're willing to take the risk on Apple products these days.

Jo I admire your pluck, you always manage to pick your self up and dust yourself down and start all over again. Wish Maggy had a badge I could nominate your for.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Result, I just had a phone call, from a manager of a job agency, about a temp job for a local company minimum wage and crap hours (6am to 2pm or 2pm to 10pm).
He made a comment about the minimum salary and I said that its a jobs, and he was impressed as some people with my skills would turn it down.
While on the phone, he said that the company has a supervisor role going so you never know, the only thing against me is that I've not been in a paid supervisor role.

nice one even if its not ideal for you its something on your CV rather than a big gap. You've been looking for a while havent you? Good luck in the new job, as said you dont know where it will lead
