People like dilli deserve to claim disability benefits, it's those who claim it for being a drug addict or an alcoholic who make me angry. It's them that make it harder for genuine people like dilli to claim what they are entitled to.

Those that are drug addicts or alcoholics if they are entitled for benefit then there's nothing wrong it. Being entitled to them doesn't make it any harder for anyone else to claim benefits either.

You are getting mixed up with people that has an opinion on who should and shouldn't be getting benefits. This can affect those in need. (Like yourself).

Also DLA is meant for exactly the kind of thing Dilli has purchased.

That looks like a really handy gadget dilli. Small enough to slip in your pocket and use discreetly whilst you are out and about. I can't believe anyone could fault you buying something that will aid you in such a way. So sod 'em and good for you cutting them out of your circle of 'friends' you certainly don't need that kind of negativity.

Well Maggy I've been invisible for years, I find my powers are particularly strong whilst standing in a queue. However I am blessed with a good Scottish tongue in my head and the recipients are left in no doubt as to the error of their ways lol!

Blooming courtesy car I've been given had broken fuel cap on stupid Vauxhal car so I couldnt get it open from the switch.
Wasted 2 hours having to drive back to garage so I can now fill up and get out this weekend.
Atleast the girls there were helpful.

Oh dear. Home from work early.
Was attacked at work - I still don't know who it was. The security guy laughed and was useless so I called 999.
It scared me silly and won't be going back.

I had the utmost respect for all of the 999ers- but they left accusing me of not paying taxes!!!!! and they were watching the footy on one of security screens, laughing and joking and calling the security guy 'mate'.

So sad-my respect for PCs has plummeted.

Taken pics of my minor injuries and officers and will calm down soonish I hope.
Respect has plumeted to below 0% - SO SAD.

That sucks. Yet again, the minority of people give the majority a bad reputation. Hope your injuries aren't too serious. I would make a complaint about them.

I resent being pushed away when I needed support and I have to say that no matter what - I will never phone them again. There goes my lifelong trust in <10 minuits.

Practically speaking I would be inclined to advise contacting your work HR dept, there are two issues here - one the attack & two the attitude of the security guards, both need something sorting out.

The police response is a separate thing & is very worrying, should you put in a complaint, or will it be more trouble than it is worth?

The important thing is that you weren't more badly hurt, even though you must feel emotionally very 'beaten up'.

I think I'd do what's outlined in the first paragraph caff and I certainly wouldn't be giving my job up on the strength of what any of those involved did, it would make me feel more of a victim tbh. Hope you aren't to badly hurt.

Caff, I totally agree with idiosyncratic and Daddy. Do not allow this incident to make you into a bigger victim. Report the attack to HR. The firm is responsible for your safety, those security are employed for a purpose and watching TV is out of order when they are called upon to do part of their job.

Sorry to hear about your bad day. People that can be so disrespecful like that don't deserve to be in their jobs.
