SD Extreme channel

Why is it that the Extreme channel (chl 527) is such bad quality? I haven't checked all VM channels, but this one is terrible in comparison to the other SD sports channels in the 500 range. It suffers from a huge amount of mpeg compression and looks like you're watching 320p YouTube vids on your TV.

And who decides which channels broadcast at what bandwiths (or whatever the correct techy term is)?

Is it a VM thing, or the channel's fault? i.e. who do I contact to ask for better quality?

I'd imagine it's the channel's decision to save costs. For a small channel like that one VM probably take the same feed that's on satellite so have no control over the quality.
