Just had an unsolicited phone call claiming to be from VM via some foreign call centre.
- They offered me Sky Movies for £10 a month as opposed to the normal cost of £38 a month (but phrased it as £2.50 to make it sound cheaper). I had to clarify that what he was actually saying was £10 a month. I doubt anyone is paying £38 a month either.
- I asked if this included the HD variants and got some waffle about how it is in HD if I watch it on a tablet- I told him I was talking about the TV only- it didn't include the HD channels.
- The offer was for six months with no contract.
I said that I can get Sky Movies for £10 a month in 720p HD on a Now TV box, to which he went on about 720p being good for better audio, but not picture. I pointed out that surely 720p would be better than SD- but he disagreed.
After asking if this offer was only for XL customers and would still be available for M or M+ customers as I was thinking of downgrading, he waffled on about something and nothing.
I insisted on a proper answer so he put me on hold to check- after a bit I was cut off.
Looking on the VM website it doesn't look that good a deal for "long term and loyal customers" as he said, it says here that Sky Movies is available for £10 a month for six months and then £15 thereafter.

Oddly, if you take a 'Big Bundle' it is more expensive- £15 for twelve months and then £24
