l remember my step Mum paying £100 to have her hedges done nash so l don't think £50 is actually too bad down IMO.

It's the cutting out of the dead wood that takes time - and you need to be careful how you trim the edges, otherwise it ends up looking like a Brazilian....

Almost feels a shame to cut in whilst you guys are on a roll so just a quick happy moment from me. This morning I have finally been passed as fit for my fist operation and I am first on the list tomorrow. A tad worried but mostly relieved.

Speaking of ops, I've just found my op online as I gave consent for it to be used. As it was a new kind of procedure. They've also included it into the Medical Journal. Is it quite a surreal thing seeing your own insides being operated on....

Good Luck Peanut, Talking of Hedge trimmers , The first time ours was used my husband just started and 10 minutes he came back in the house to show me the cord halved in two, just as well we had a safety plug on it.
