Picture Box question
Just curious as how people FIRST found out about the picture box package launched last week.
From here or another chat forum?
From virgin via the post?
From virgin via thier website?
From virgin via thier press release?
From virgin via a paper bill?
Ive been having a phone "discussion" with management at Hook HQ about how they communicate goods news to customers.
Be interesting to compare experiences with what they say happens.

Re: Picture Box question
Ive been sent an email by the person i was talking to and gives a link to the virgin website page where information about Picture Box can be found. Hidden away in bundles! He also told me that we were all sent information in the post. Anyone seen it?
This is the link he gave: http://allyours.virginmedia.com/html...on-demand.html
(Hardly seems to be aimed at informing existing customers but better than nothing i guess)
Just cant understand why they dont convey good news to customers in a way thats clear. Press releases are aimed at media not customers.

I emailed them back and gave them this thread to see what others thought of the way to promote new services to customers so lets hope we get some more responses.

Re: Picture Box question
I emailed Virgin about picture box not being promoted to its customers and got a hpone call today saying they agreed with what i said (and many others of course) and is going to pass my email onto the marketing people.
Lets hope they work on thier marketing skills before future good news is put out in a press release and not to customers.
Glad she phoned though as, with a press of a button or two, cured a problem that others had failed to resolve in a week since a reported it and it was elevated to somone higher up.
She was from a scottish virgin "outpost" so thanks if your viewing this forum.
