Re: Football Season 2011/12
Being a Spurs fan, l now know that Harry is mad, thinking that Warnock could be the next England manager.
If thats the case l will put myself forward.

Re: Football Season 2011/12
That problem with Terry is now forgotten about, now we have the player saying that he did not hear the 'word' but saw it on the web.
This matter has to be dealt with, with that was a member of the public, we would be hit very hard, goes to prove one law for one, and one for another.

Re: Football Season 2011/12
it seems both sides don't know how to defend as Santos makes it 2-2
---------- Post added at 13:59 ---------- Previous post was at 13:52 ----------
And Walcott makes it 3-2 to Arsenal in this very entertaining London derby.
---------- Post added at 14:24 ---------- Previous post was at 13:59 ----------
Mata has just scored a magnificent goal to equalise for Chelsea to make it 3-3
---------- Post added at 14:29 ---------- Previous post was at 14:24 ----------
A terrible defensive blunder by Terry lets in RVP to make it 4-3 to Arsenal.
---------- Post added at 14:35 ---------- Previous post was at 14:29 ----------
And RVP seals the win with his hat trick to make it Chelsea 3 Arsenal 5 and what a match this is.

Re: Football Season 2011/12
Newcastle arguably have the worst set of games coming up I've ever seen.
Away to City
Away to Man Utd
Home to Chelsea
If Newcastle and City manage to avoid defeat until they meet they will face each other as the only two Unbeaten sides in the league.
Swansea are having a good old time, Yet to win away but undefeated at home and up to 10th as things stand.

Conversely you could argue that they have just had the easiest 8 or 9 game sequence possible.

Re: Football Season 2011/12
Another fine performance from the east end of Glasgow.
0-0 at home to Hibs.
Seemingly Leicester are interested in having Neil Lennon as their next manager. On behalf of all Rangers fans everywhere I'd like to implore them to reconsider. Scottish football needs him to continue with his comedy signings, tactics and his amazing ability to throw his players to the wolves every chance he gets.

l have to admit Derek my thoughts on Neil Lennon is that when Celtic appointed him here was a man totally out of his depth and nothing he has done since has changed that view.

Re: Football Season 2011/12
For months now i have followed enthralled the debate amongst some of the most informed and foresighted bloggers on the planet regarding Fernando Torres, and why things just don't seem to be working out for him after his move to Chelsea.
Some of the theories advanced have been of Nobel standard, obviously drawing upon years of watching the game at the very highest levels, deep tactical understandi...ng, psychological analysis, keen knowledge of landscape gardening and an intimate grasp of Pythagoras's theorem.
Watching the game this afternoon, however, it dawned on me exactly what the problem is!
As is so often the case in such situations, the answer is ridiculously easy...........
He's rubbish.

Re: Football Season 2011/12
Well l am happy with the outcome as we have that mighty pocket battleship Suarez in our side now although we have that lump of a player Carroll here too.
