Question @virginmedia.com in Windows Live Mail 2011

I am trying to set up Windows Live Mail 2011 to read a @virginmedia.com account.

The settings given on the virginmedia.com do not work as they seem to be for Windows Mail.

Can any one who uses Windows Live Mail 2011 to give me the settings please.

the error message i get is Unable to send or receive messages for the Virginmedia (walter1943) account. The connection to the server has failed.
Server: 'smtp.virginmedia.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0E
Protocol: POP3
Port: 110
Secure(SSL): No
Socket Error: 10060

Should be pop3.virginmedia.com with SSL turned on. Your ntlworld settings should really be pop3.ntlworld.com with SSL turned on as shown in the settings here

Re: @virginmedia.com in Windows Live Mail 2011

Given that IMAP is far superior and supported by both, why are you trying to use POP3 at all to begin with?
