Whatever Sky do with regards to some enhanced features the horse has already bolted and Skys biggest mistake was breaking their ties with TiVo and now all they have got is a third rate box that even with updates will always lag some way behind Virgin's TiVo.
Really the only HD channel l want is Sky Atlantic because apart from Sky's HD offering is not that special.

Not many people would call it third rate. It has reliable PVR functionality, Dynamic EPG and remote record which is what most people actually want from an STB.

Better GUI
Multistream functionality soon
Superior VOD
Search and Wishlists functions
Apps
Far superior EPG
Just basically a far more polished and greater user experience then Skys offering.

Not really. In an earlier post you spoke about Tivo and then said you would like Atlantic HD. To me that seems likr clutching at straws as STB over content makes no sense to me.
As for your list, didn't make sense to me. Not sure why pointing out dynamic epg is clutching at straws. We are talking about two PVRs and it is FACT that the one with dynamic epg has a bettet chance of reliable PVR functionality.
Not also sure how you came to better GUI and 'polished'. Sky+HD is much faster than TIvo which forms a huge part of the GUI experience. Its difficult for a PVR to be polished when it is slow to respond.

Apps - Sky has games and the Apps on Tivo are not they great

Re: Which Sky Atlantic Show
I personally don't get the comment about VOD. On Sky Anytime I have watched S1 of The Borgias and Boardwalk Empire among other shows and if that is not quality then I don't know what is. Plus on Sky you can download the show to watch at anytime in the futureso to me that is much more useful than having to rush through shows like on VM that expire.
Anyway, isn't this Sky VOD not the same VOD that users in the VM section were complaining about not having before it arrived on VM?
