Its been done like this for as long as l can remember and even if it had been at the end of season l still think Suarez would have polled enough votes for a near landslide thenry.

what about team of the year? critical games, big games bring out the best in some players which deserve a look at for team of the year.

He scored 30 goals this season and that's not been down on a regular basis plus he has let his football do the talking this season and that's a sea change from last season and on that basis even the most ardent non Suarez supporters would not argue that he did not deserve this accolade as many of his goal and assists have been genius like.

Team of the year in my opinion has to be Southampton in the PS followed by my beloved who have played way above expectations.
Chump of the year well that's no contest as we all know who that is.

Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
I'm not saying Suarez doesn't deserve the award. I am though saying that team of the year should surely be decided after the season with battles still going on.
Chump of the year is a tough one too... Tottenham, Man Utd, Fergie, Moyes...

Unless there is a concerted campaign l somehow cannot see it being changed to the end of the season even though to me it would be a great idea but alas Gordon Taylor is a dinosaur in a modern age and he does not seem to like change.

Not surprised, everyone knew Newcastle weren't going to play Football tonight. Knowing Liverpool's luck, they'll turn up to Anfield though

oh and its St. Totteringham Day
---------- Post added at 22:11 ---------- Previous post was at 21:51 ----------
How was Ozil offside for his goal when Debuchy was on the deck near enough on the edge of the pitch therefore playing everything onside ?

If Debuchy was behind the keeper then that's your answer. Don't ask, it's a pretty messed up sub-rule inside the offside rule.

Good game. Taking me ages to get home at the moment though. Poxy tube strike.
