What's up with Amazon?
I'm on Prime. and instead of saying "Want it tomorrow.... order within 10 hrs"
it's saying "Want it Thursday"
too long.

Re: What's up with Amazon?
I'm noticing it on quite a few items too. I bought an external hard drive last night and it said it'd be here on Wednesday. Now the items I look at are saying Thursday. It's saying they're in stock too.

Re: What's up with Amazon?
With the amount of stuff they sold on Friday I imagine their warehouse staff are simply struggling to keep up. 65 items sold per second, apparently.

I ordered something yesterday (sunday), it said Wednesday (prime), but got the item today, so might just be a problem their end.

It's also cyber Monday so they'll be rushed off their feet. Bound to be bottlenecks in the supply chain.

Yep, once they've blown all the dosh on "Having a good Christmas" it's hay ho down to the food bank.
They featured one jobless lot in my red top that was able to save £120 a month from their obviously far too generous benefits to splurge £1500 on Chistmas presents including 2 flat TVs, bikes and i-pads for the Children.

Re: What's up with Amazon?
Can't say I've bought a single thing in the sales. Too many other demands on my money.
Loving the Daily Mail fest here though. Perhaps because people don't have that much cash they have had to defer their spending and take advantage of lower prices as they can't afford the full ones?
Just because disposable incomes have taken a hit doesn't mean everyone's destitute ya know.

Lets not pigeon hole everybody with the same brush my dear chap as there are many that have saved up all year long to have a nice Christmas with their families.

I have no problem with those who work hard and save up their pennies for a good Christmas. Where I DO have a problem is those being financed by the state being able to afford the sort of Christmas that hard working folks could only dream of.
