I believe an update is needed to support the live channels , certain movies can't be shown on Youview although not many as the contract with the rightsholders stipulates the movie must also been show live.
Talk Talk also allows the day pass for sport. You sign in then access them through the epg.

The tivo Neftflix app has been updated with access user profiles and now takes 1 Minute and 20 seconds to load....

Since the update yesterday mine has gone from just under 2 minutes to load to just under 50 seconds. Hopefully it will stay like this.

How do they stop people from buying multiple boxes in order to get the free trials?

Would it be worth it financially?

I see France 24 is now broadcasting free on YouTube in 720p , I've also seen it mentioned BBC Three could use YouTube wonder if more will follow ?

No idea at a guess i imagine it'll go by the debit card on account or possibly the ip address.

Debit card and email address. Meaning, just as a hypothetical example you understand (!), that if you have more than one current account or, for example, your wife has a differently numbered card for the same account, and you have access to more than one email address, you can access more than one free trial.

I am also led to believe that the same is true of Netflix!
