As for this thread.....

Dune.
Aliens. I like Alien as is, the DVD still gives it that 70's feel.
The Cotton Club (Some Dir Cut that sorts it out)
The Sting (I will double dip on this if it is a big improvement)
Star Wars/Empire/Return (Original Cinema, not Lucas inspired versions)
Brazil.

I can't tell which version it is, but I'm guessing it's the Final Cut one. You can certainly see the difference but of course it's probably lost some of its sharpness there. It looks a hell of a lot better when watching imo.

Ohhhh, it looks absolutely mint. Damn it. Look at Hauer sitting in that chair, loads of detail. Ahhh well, it was inevitable.

And Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas, it has been out on BR, but you will have to grab Reg1 from what I can see, and it is £20 at Amazon, so import duty might end up on it. I looked about two months ago and it was over £100, so it must be rare?

Kingbuxton, The Blade Runner Blu Ray is by far one of the most amazing looking transfers I have seen. They really went to town on cleaning it and making it looks as good as possible. I got the US briefcase version.

Can't wait for the new Star Trek film on Blu Ray next month

Mad Gamer, not sure you understood this thread, lol. Its for DVDs & Blu Rays that you really want to get.

@Stephen - I already doubled up with The Thing, you pretty much convinced me with Bladerunner. It's pretty cheap at Amazon.

Which version did you buy? I got a decent one from Movietyme which had 5 discs with several different versions of the movie and a Making Of.

V: The Complete Collection (DVD)

The Original Mini-Series + The Final Battle + The TV Series

Star Trek (2009) (Blu-ray Disc)

3 disc set, complete with a "Digital Copy" (now on my iPhone), and something I didn't realise it came with when I ordered it: the "Star Trek Countdown" prequel comic

Where did you order Star Trek from? Is everywhere doing the comic?
