as far i have seen in this thread members have after the updates 6 or 8 channels not 7 (if i remember well)
If is a ghost should go after a reboot (that was usually happened with older SH firmwares)

Indeed it does make sense. Sorry, everyone! Like I said though, I'm not complaining =)
If it's any consolation, I got traffic managed less than 24hours after being doubled, so I was back at 50 for most of yesterday evening

Re: Areas already upgraded (2012 double speed upgrades)
So what are Virgin planning to do exactly regarding the upload speeds?
Are they going to keep everyone on 100/5 until the corresponding area has been completely upgraded for 120/12 then move everyone onto that or will there they provision 10Mb upload beforehand?

It goes like this:
50/5 -> 100/5 -> 120/12
This is the very odd exception to this rule where occasionally it goes 50/5 -> 100/10 but it never goes 100/5 -> 100/10.
So basically, wait for 120Mbit.

All of the mass upgrades are 50/5 > 100/5 > 120/12
Only some manual upgrades end up going 50/5 > 100/10, and that's only if the wrong upgrade code is used as it's not supposed to happen

I said I couldn't justify the £115 for the Asus RT-N66U, but I found one on ebay that was "faulty" (Wouldn't connect to anything wired, wasn't broadcasting) for £50. Gave it a punt, true enough it didn't work but a quick trip to Firmware Recovery mode and flashed the latest Asus FW, works like a charm!
In fact, it works so well here's the speed tests via Wireless -
At one point, we got a 5ms ping (On wireless, I know) but it only hit 98Mbit. I seriously cannot recommend this router enough.
I should point out that the laptop in quesition has a Bigfoot Killer Wireless-N card installed.

As they say around these parts, I'm "made up". The guy selling it had 3, I'm wishing I bought the lot now!
