BB downgrade

Hi guys,

At the moment, we have VM's 'm' tv package, their phone line and 150mb broadband. I'm thinking of removing the Tv and phone line as we don't use them much and keeping the broadband as its pretty amazing. When I called CS, I spoke to them asking if we could keep the 150mb, but we could not for some reason and told we could upgrade to 200mb or downgrade to 100mb.

My question is, if we downgrade to 100mb, do VM have future plans to upgrade the speeds, like they have done in the past. When I first joined VM, we started off at 30mb, and each time they upgrade the speeds for 'free'.

Thanks efw

re: BB downgrade

Odd as it may sound, removing parts of the deal could actually see an increase in price. Give them a call and check.

And VM is always upgrading speeds, you just have to wait patiently in line until you get another one.

re: BB downgrade

If we went for the 100mb, it would come down to £35 P/m or 200mb at £43 P/m. We are currently paying around £50 P/m for Tv, phone with talk anytime and 150mb BB. We do get a loyalty discount aswell.

The 150mb is pretty handy for us, since there are 7 of us in the house, the kids love their tablets, lol.

Re: BB downgrade

When you enter a new contract by downgrading, you can only choose from the speeds currently available. 50, 100, 200 or 300 with Homeworks. None of these levels currently have any free upgrades.

Re: BB downgrade

Why not just downgrade the telco to weekends only. That's £8 saving
