Re: LG Cookie

I guess you mean how to transfer music to it? Normally LGs come up as a removable drive in My Computer so you could use Windows Media Player if you want, although when this is the case I just drag music over manually. It'll probably come with its own software too.

Re: LG Cookie

I have an LG Viewty.

The supplied software for it is absolute pants.

Although the phone has proved adequate for my needs I would not entertain buying LG in the future. YMMV

If my old motorola was comparable to a Ford then the LG would be a Travant.

Re: LG Cookie

I've put your latest question in with your other lg cookie questions.

---------- Post added at 21:26 ---------- Previous post was at 21:24 ----------

Oh - and the problem is that the cookie doesn't read the id3 tags properly.

If you get hold of an id3 tag editor you can sort your albums out and make them play in the correct order.

for exampe on my war of the worlds album I had to add the data so the tracks read like this.

001 - eve of the war
002 - horsell common and the heat ray
003 - the artilery man and the figjting machine

and so on.

Re: LG Cookie

What annoyed me about the Cookie i have one is that it advertises MP4 compatibility yet wont play them.

This is the second time you've just ignored my advice I'm not sure why I bother.

I told you what was wrong and how to fix it.

You need to rename the tracks as I already told you. Once you add the numbers it will play in track order properly.

How do I know this? Because I had an lg cookie. Which is also how I know how increadibly crap they are for what you need and why I advised you not to get one.

When I still had mine I did get it to play some mp4 files (aac) but I always found it easier to convert them to mp3

the other (audio) thing I didn't like was how long it tool to add new files / tracks to it's playlist.
