Hi all,
Apologies if this has been answered already but I have my Sky+ signal split via a Magic Eye from the lounge into the bedroom via an amplifier. There used to be no problem with the signal but since having to remove all the cables to remove an old cabinet, I now only get the Sky channels transmitting upstairs but have lost all the terrestrial channels. Could anybody please give me an idiots guide to which cables should go where as I've obviously missed something.
Cheers
Jules
The channels downstairs all work fine. I just have a feeling I've plugged one of the wrong cables in as I have a couple of redundant aerial cables. Initially, I had no picture at all upstairs but then traced the fact to the wrong cable being plugged in.
Oh good luck in trying to find the right cable. I Had to do that one night when my tv went and in the end I felt like throwing all the wires out the window but i got it working after about two hours in the end
Many thanks, but IT'S SORTED! It was the first part of the loop that was missing. The primary aerial cable didn't go into the Sky+ box and the Sky+ cable to the TV had disappeared completely. Put the 2 back where they should be and Robert is your mother's brother.
Agsin, thanks for trying to help
