Good question IMHO (the timescale aspect). The only significant thing about this coming update, is that it prepares the way for proper goodies such as multi-room streaming and Spotify.

I guess the most obvious thing will be the mini-screen in EPG, when on a Sky channel these are blacked out, they should be visible when you have the update.

So more than one in November? Or do we have to wait until the new year for multi-room?
Presumably, as it's an app, Spotify can be added any time after we all have V 15.2 software?

So the 15.2 update or what every it's called will be the last update this year ? or there be more than 1 update in November ?

The pilot rollout was to check for significant bugs. If any are found, they'd get fixed and the pilot areas would get the updated rollout along with with everyone else. Otherwise, there's no purpose in doing pilot rollouts.

It'll be the last firmware update yes, because Virgin go into a 'change freeze' in December so that customer's services aren't affected during the Christmas period

So it looks like we will get the red button functionality then in January then Ben or even later then that.

Re: Tivo Update - Can someone post a video of it? ( 15.2 )
Why wouldn't red button work from the update? Where has the thinking come from that it needs a further update from the update to work??
