Their "exchange rate" is about 1.07
iPhone 7 Plus $769 > £719 (1.07)
iPhone 7 $649 > £599 (1.08)
iPhone 6s Plus $649 > £599 (1.08)
iPhone 6s $549 > £499 (1.10)
iPhone SE $399 > £379 (1.05)
Blaming "Brexit" is just an excuse IMO, the dollar exchange rate is 1.32 atm.

I would say to price them up for the UK, change the $ to a £ and add £100

Not a big deal, I've been using my beats Bluetooth headphones for ages.
Even little Pierre jnr has a set of Bluetooth headphones for his IPad that I got from toysrus

I had no idea all Androids have had wireless charging for years, an you do realise Apple is a Manufacturer of hardware. Android is Googles mobile operating system don't you?
It's hard to compare Android to Apple, baring in mind Android is available on over 5000 devices priced from £9.99 to £3999, from phones , to set top boxes , to TV's , from over 200 manufacturers. I never understand why anyone would compare Android (an OS) to Apple (a company) Android compared to iOS works I guess. Or Google to Apple, but not Android to Apple lol. But then I guess not everyone is as tech savvy as me.

stop being annoying. He never said all Android phones. Also he was refering to Android as an OS and the hardware that is obviously given with it.
Also ignoring the other stuff it's more the flagship devices. The rest of us understood that.
So yes we can compare Apple to Google cause they do their own hardware in terms of the Nexus line which yes is made by other companies but to Google's specifications.

Re: Apple Ditches Headphone Socket in iPhone 7
Do I think losing the headphone socket is a good idea? No. Not from a consumer point of view. I can see the advantage for Apple (leaves a fair amount of space for other devices), but for the consumer, it increases wear and tear on the one port available on the phone, so if that port is damaged, the user may not be able to charge the phone (the iPhone 7 does not support wireless charging). I had this problem with my old HTC Tytn.
That said, I went out and bought a decent set of bluetooth headphones that while they look a little like old school hearing aids (the ones that hang over the back of your ear), they sound brilliant (which, for me, is the main thing), so assuming I upgrade to an iPhone 7 next year, I won't have to use any adaptors or buy Air Pods. While I can upgrade from November, I've not been that impressed with Vodafone, so want the freedom to move to a new carrier, so need to wait until February.

The name might have changed (after being banned - again) but the missing 'd' off the word and is such a give away. I wonder if he'll last longer than RBMark did .

Re: Apple Ditches Headphone Socket in iPhone 7
Benchmarks are in, they're very good: http://www.tomsguide.com/us/iphone-7...ews-23474.html
Apple making their own chips is paying off. I suspect they'll eventually look at putting these in their lower end laptops as well.

I see the Note 7 is conveniently missing.
I fread reviews it was far superior to the i7

The Note 7 uses the same chip as the S7. Last years iPhone beats the Note 7:
http://www.phonearena.com/news/iPhon...e-test_id84387
and look at the Ars benchmarks: http://arstechnica.co.uk/apple/2016/...7-review/5/#h2
It's a blowout.
Even without the benchmarks though the day to day use is a problem for Samsung: http://www.xda-developers.com/with-t...d-performance/
Apple's A chips outpace anything in the Android market at the moment. Apple use it across their (high-priced) range and even their lower end options will use the previous year's chips. That level of scale and investment is a massive benefit.
They're even more powerful than many of Apple's laptop range. Whatever you think of Apple the development of their own chipsets is one of the most interesting things happening in technology at the moment. Since the 5S they've been getting huge leaps in performance. Next year they'll be able to drop the 5S and make iOS 11 fully 64bit. With every supported platform being 5S or above then Apple and developers can target very capable platforms.

To be fair the prices in the US exclude sales tax as well - so you should either add 15-20% on to the US prices, or deduct 20% from the GB prices to compare like with like..
