I assume we shall get clarity on the future of the UK arm then. Viaplay's financial results will obviously be poor so they will be keen to show investors progress on the restructuring. They will want to do any write-downs now and not later. The core Nordic and Dutch business is apparently financially sound and they do have some solid trade investors.

Mainly because the new CEO has given Viaplay so many options for the UK that they would be hard-pressed not to announce one of them!

...said the company would focus on its core Nordic, Dutch and Viaplay Select operations, while downsizing, partnering, or leaving other markets.

Also, to show progress is being made and to ensure all attention and chatter is not solely on the financials!

So Viaplay will not reveal it results until Thursday after 4.30pm (UK Time).

I expect that Viaplay's Nordic Noir dramas and films will then be sold on the open market to be picked up by the likes of Netflix and the BBC, et al.
