Question Any parental controls provided?

I'm thinking about getting a VM contract phone for one of my children. Is there any mechanism with VM to restrict web site access, set usage times and such like?

Re: Any parental controls provided?

hi jayay , yes their is parental control ,in the "your account" section on the left hand side is parental control which say`s "At Virgin Mobile we're dedicated to looking after our customers in a socially responsible way
So, to help us protect customers who are under 18, we restrict access to sites containing material that is only suitable for people who are 18 or over"
so when you start your contract for your child let them know he/she is under 18 and it should be activated ,and can only be deactivated from within "your account" ,as for the usage etc thier is nothing ,but to stop them over spending and generating a large bill ,lower thier credit limit right down,so if they use up any of thier allowances up it will suspend thier service and you don`t have a big bill to pay

Re: Any parental controls provided?

I'd like to see a restriction option on "cost to receive" texts - don't care if they call it a parental control or not.
